Library Operations - Shapiro

Library Operations at Shapiro has reached gold level certification. The department has eliminated space heaters and shares energy information with staff on a regular basis. Composting is in place in the staff kitchen and is monitored by staff to insure there is no contamination. Reusable ware was purchased to replace disposables. Guides are being developed to help manage zero waste in the library gallery, and for new employee orientation.
