Singer-Denstaedt Lab

Our lab focuses on how acute illnesses, like sepsis and pneumonia, cause persistent changes in immune and brain function, and whether these trajectories can be changed by treatments that modulate the function of the innate immune system. We are part of the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine, in the University of Michigan Medical School.
