Soellner Lab

Our group focuses on studying biochemical pathways involved in cancer growth and progression. To do so, we utilize synthetic organic chemistry to develop small molecule probes which are tested in a biochemical setting using fluorescence and absorbance spectroscopy assays. The probes which perform well in such assays are then tested in cells to elucidate the role of enzymes such as protein tyrosine kinases within a specific pathway. {Previously certified silver: January 25, 2013}
