Environment, Health and Safety, formerly Occupational Safety and Environmental Health, earned a platinum certification by removing unnecessary printers and setting the default to double-sided printing, setting computers to energy saving settings and auto-shutdown at the end of varying work schedules, replacing equipment batteries with rechargeable ones, and discontinuing purchase of disposable kitchen items. The department provided reusable dishware and utensils to staff.
