Blood Bank/Cellular Therapy Lab

The Blood Bank provides blood products and performs complex antibody testing for patients who need transfusions due to cancers, traumas, transplants and other medical conditions. The Cellular Therapy Laboratory provides bone marrow and stem cell transplants for patients, while providing cutting edge technology for gene therapy. Both labs incorporate sustainability by recycling items such as paper, cardboard, batteries, Styrofoam, pipette tip boxes, plastic caps, plastic saline cubes, ink cartridges, and ink pens. We also have participated in the Freezer Challenge, in which we “warmed” up our ultra low freezers 10 degrees to become more “Green.”
