Bridges Laboratory

We use a variety of cellular and molecular techniques including protein, metabolite mRNA analyses to address changes in physiology related to obesity. This involves a variety of mouse, rat and fruit fly models as well as cell culture systems. We have several pieces of equipment to assist in these studies including centrifuges, refrigerators, freezer, thermal cyclers, a magnetic resonance body composition analyzer and standard molecular biology equipment.
