This achievement underscores the department’s ongoing commitment to environmental responsibility. The journey toward this milestone began with the formation of a Green Team and efforts to engage all members in actions such as turning off lights and equipment, hosting zero-waste events, and completing Planet Blue Ambassador certification. Key initiatives that contributed to earning the Platinum certification include: -Embedding sustainability in onboarding and performance evaluations -Completing Planet Blue Ambassador and general sustainability training -Removing desk-side bins to reduce landfill waste -Adding reusable items in the breakroom -Creating a sustainable purchasing commitment This accomplishment reflects the CDB department’s collective dedication to a greener future through mindful, everyday actions.
