The Center for Education Design, Evaluation, and Research has achieved the highest level of Platinum certification. The department reduced the use of printed agendas where possible. They also encourage the use of active transit modes through participation in the GetDowntown summer and winter commuter challenges. The team earned a bonus point by inviting other building occupants to a PBA training and Where to Throw training. Over 50% of the staff are Planet Blue Ambassadors. Desk and floor lamps have LED light bulbs. Purchasing practices prioritize recycled content to support the recycling market. Recycling collections have been set up in the office. Sustainability materials are shared with staff on a regular bases.
