General Chemistry Undergraduate Teaching Labs

In these labs we teach General Chemistry courses. Instrumentation includes FTIR & Visible Spectrometers, pH Meters, and other laboratory sensors. Some of our sustainability initiatives include only turning on ovens and fridges when needed for specific experiments, making use of the campus Lab Reuse program, and working with faculty and instructors to ensure that consumable and chemical use is in accord with pedagogical needs (minimize waste without sacrificing learning goals). {Originally certified gold: March 10, 2014}
