Chemistry Department Office

Originally certified as platinum in 2014, the Department of Chemistry was re-certified at the same top level in 2019. They reduced waste by setting their printers to default to duplex printing and black ink only; removed their office from the mailing list for all unwanted catalogs; supplied reusable silverware and dishes in the kitchen; and purchased reusable crates to use rather than cardboard boxes (all cardboard boxes for moving use are saved and reused when the reusable crates are not an option). Staff take campus buses rather than personal vehicles. The department encourages all of its graduate students to become Planet Blue Ambassadors.
