Complex Systems and Center for the Study of Black Youth in Context

Complex Systems and the Center for the Study of Black Youth in Context achieved platinum certification. The departments leave lights off on bright days. The team participates in the special recycling programs and also collects plastic bags and foam containers (to take to recycle). The kitchen has mugs, dishcloths and brushes and cloth drying towels. Staff have the option of using bulk ground coffee or using compostable K-cups–and they compost both. Most staff, faculty and students on the floor use public transportation or walk to work. Over 50% of the staff are Planet Blue Ambassadors.
