Cytopathology Lab

Performs nearly 37,000 of Pap tests and non-GYN specimens a year along with some research. Lab has T-2000 and T-5000 Hologic machines with other supporting equipment. Alcohol, xylene and formalin waste streams are being recycled and reused. Many plastics from our specimen preparation and packaging have been added to our recycling efforts. {Originally certified platinum: September 9, 2011}
