EEB, MCDB, UMMP, Bio Station, and Business Office

Ecology and Evolutionary Biology was originally certified platinum in 2016. After their move to Biological Science Building, they joined Molecular and Cellular Development Biology, U-M Museum Paleontology, BioStation and the Business office to obtain a certification in their new space. With fresh eyes and a new group of people in the Admin suite of BSB, the team was able to expand their sustainable behaviors. All offices and open area thermostats are on an automatic system. Offices are motion sensors for lighting and temp controls. The group uses reusable dishes in the kitchen for their meals and beverages. Staff bring their own cups for coffee when attending any meetings. Over 80% of the staff are Planet Blue Ambassadors.
