Fireside Café

Originally certified in 2015, Fireside Café was re-certified platinum. The group minimizes paper use, such as by sharing the café’s welcome letter electronically, using a web form for scheduling, and using electronic signage for the menus. The café does pre-consumer composting and procures local food whenever possible. The department prioritizes supporting the recycling market by purchasing recycled content copy paper. Over 90% of the staff are certified Planet Blue Ambassadors.
