Originally certified platinum in 2016, Fleming Business Services has completed the steps necessary to re-certify. Energy information is shared with staff. To provide water at events, a water pitcher is used rather than bottled water. The team no longer accepts paper copies of invoices. All clients have been set up to scan documents directly to the team via email. Printed reports have been reduced from 4-6 sheets to one. Events are zero waste and composting has been implemented in the kitchen. 80% of staff are Planet Blue Ambassadors. To celebrate Earth day, the team watched a documentary on garbage. The staff were given reusable straws to reduce plastic waste.
