Graduate School Administration

Rackham Graduate School Administration achieved gold certification. The school worked with Office of Campus Sustainability Energy Management staff to improve energy efficiency. They implemented kitchen composting and removed single-use disposable items. Most dissertations are now submitted electronically. Admissions applications (27,000 per year) are also submitted electronically. Rackham departments use pitchers or large water containers for events instead of individual bottles. Additional bike racks have been added to encourage sustainable transportation.
