Description
The Michigan Medicine Immunohistochemistry (IPOX) Lab is a division of the Anatomic Pathology Department. The primary function of the lab is to apply antibodies to very thin sections of patient tissues that are placed on microscope slides. These antibodies help to visualize proteins and tissue morphology that can aid in the diagnosis of cancers or other diseases.
