Kirschner Lab

In the Kirschner lab, our research is focused on developing a deeper understanding of complex host-pathogen immunobiology and treatment in the context of pulmonary Mycobacterium tuberculosis infection. To accomplish this, we develop and implement mathematical and computational models that mechanistically simulate virtual tissues and patients. We have performed impactful research while maintaining a small ecological footprint by efficiently utilizing university computational resources.
