Library Operations

The Library Operations office has reached silver level certification. The department has eliminated space heaters. Composting has been implemented in the kitchen. The department is supporting a pilot composting paper towers in the restrooms in Hatcher North and all of Shapiro. A green team has been formed across the library system. This group will represent a broad cross-section of the library and will not just be limited to operations. Over 50% of staff are certified as Planet Blue Ambassadors.
