LSA Philosophy

The office obtained gold level certification in 2013 and resubmitted a new assessment in 2019. With Zero Waste events, kitchen composting and procuring compostable k-cups the office has greatly reduced the waste produced. In addition, the office replaced paper files with electronic systems for personnel and student advising files. The entire staff office received a presentation on sustainability at U-M which included Planet Blue Ambassador training. This brought them from a level of Gold to Platinum.
