Museum of Natural History

Originally certified in 2013, after their move to BSB, the Museum of Natural History resubmitted a self-assessment and has reached platinum level certification. The Biological Sciences Building earned LEED Gold certification with many sustainability features, including a green roof. Over 50% of staff are certified Planet Blue Ambassadors. Student staff are encouraged to take the training to ensure understanding of the U-M sustainability goals. Composting is being implemented in the entire building.
