NMR Lab

The NMR Facility provides qualified students and researchers in the Chemistry Department access to state-of-the-art Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) instrumentation. It is open to all U of M researchers for hands-on operations after proper training and authorization. We provide support for a wide variety of NMR studies including structure, conformation, dynamics, kinetics and reaction mechanisms of small organic and inorganic molecules. The Facility currently operates seven spectrometers of varying purposes and capabilities as well as several workstations for off line processing, plotting and analysis of spectra.
