Description
Originally certified as platinum in 2013, the department has been re-certified platinum. The Office of Public Affairs has established a “lights out” policy when a room or space is not being used. The kitchen is 100% compostable, including all dishware, silverware and cups. Purchases are limited to once a month (previously weekly) to reduce packaging. Carpooling is encouraged to and from meetings, or making it a point to walk. Planet Blue materials are promoted at the front desk to make the campus community more aware of the efforts right here on campus. Over 50% of the staff are Planet Blue Ambassadors.
