Salami Lab

Dr. Salami is a translational surgeon-scientist whose laboratory focuses on developing novel cancer biomarkers to overcome tumor heterogeneity and multifocality as well as elucidate optimal paradigms for early detection of urologic cancers, risk stratification, prognostication, and prediction of treatment response. Dr. Salami’s lab collaborates with investigators from Africa and Asia to understand the molecular underpinnings of urologic cancer disparities.
