School for Environment and Sustainability

The School of Environment and Sustainability (SEAS) building is currently gold certified. SEAS composts on the first floor and invests in energy saving initiatives. The building has Solar Panels on the roof. Lights in the hallway are on half way in the evenings and on weekends. Fans are set up on a schedule rather than running 24/7. The team is always looking for ways to reuse or donate extra office supplies. Packages are reviewed before delivery and suppliers are asked to take their waste back with them. All facilities and office supplies are purchased with sustainability in mind. Many faculty and staff ride bikes or take the bus to work.
