Shapiro Design Office

The Shapiro Design Lab has reached gold level certification. The team is collecting excess/scrap 3D printing material and recycling/composting the items. The department supports alternative transportation by providing space for parking an electric skateboard. The department switched to reusable batteries for lab equipment. The team stepped up in the pandemic and made headbands for face shields to protect Michigan health care workers using 3D printers. 100% of staff are certified as Planet Blue Ambassadors.
