Shared Services Center

Originally certified as platinum in 2016, the building is re-certified. Motion lights with auto-shutoff are in all areas of the building. Shared Services is in a leased space but has still managed to push for sustainability initiatives, such as on-campus bin signage. The department had AAATA add a bus stop when the center opened. Bike racks have been installed. Only recycled paper and mostly “green” chemicals are purchased. The green team does regular emails/presentations at staff meetings. The 240+ member staff has over 50% Planet Blue Ambassadors.
