Sherman Lab

Current work is focused on utilizing synthetic chemistry and biochemistry/molecular biology to effectively synthesize and produce novel natural products. Equipment we use is that of a standard synthetic lab (stir plates, rotavapors, oven, vacuum pumps, et.), molecular biology lab (PCR, centrifuges, vortex, incubators, shakers etc.). Products synthesized are isolated and characterized by chromatography and spectroscopy.
