Shultz Lab

The Shultz group conducts chemistry education research aimed at understanding the teaching and learning of college level chemistry. This research is highly interdisciplinary and employs both qualitative and quantitative research methods from education. Our areas of research primarily focus on the development of chemistry graduate teaching assistants, the use of writing-to-learn pedagogy, and the implementation of transformative STEM education.
