Description
The SMART Center is an NSF-seeded microscopy core facility that provides university researchers with imaging and manipulation tools to detect, track, manipulate, and analyze biomolecules with unprecedented detail. Our services include comprehensive training, data acquisition support, and experienced consultation on experimental design and analysis.
We aim to develop a university-wide initiative in single molecule technology—encompassing single molecule spectroscopy (SMS) and imaging (SMI), laser tweezers (LT), and atomic force microscopy (AFM)—to unite basic scientists, engineers, and clinical researchers in addressing critical questions in medicine and nanotechnology.
