Description
The Student Affairs Career Center achieved platinum certification. They removed disposable items from the staff kitchen, use rechargeable batteries, increased the recycled content of copy paper, expanded recycling collection, and posted reminders to turn off the lights when not in use. They met with their Regional Energy Manager to evaluate how to maintain comfortable temperatures without wasting energy. More than 50% of the staff are Planet Blue Ambassadors and the team incorporates sustainability into onboarding and regular office communication.
