The Vascular Defense and Discovery Laboratory is focused on understanding how natural blood vessel defense mechanisms may be amplified to protect in conditions such as stroke, heart attack, deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary hypertension, or organ transplantation, to develop novel strategies for the treatment of heart attack, stroke, and other vascular diseases.
